We all know the headache of queuing at the Driving Licence Testing Centre for a car licence disc renewal. On a positive note, you do get a 21-day grace period from the time that your license has expired until penalties kick in – which can be paid online.
You can renew your licence disk through the services listed below, however there are service / admin and delivery fees involved. All which may vary throughout, with SA Postal Service providing the lowest fees.
You will need the following:
- A licence disc
- Copy of your ID
- Proof of address (no older than 3 months)
- Permission letter if you are applying on someone else’s behalf
